I’m Victoria 🌻. I’m the founder of Curriculum & Culture, a bookworm, a certified English Language Arts teacher, and the creator of all of our reading resources for kids.

As a small business, the mission of Curriculum & Culture is to solve the literacy crisis by putting diverse and inclusive library books and high-quality reading curriculum into the hands of kids all over the country. We’ve sold thousands of novel studies and activity books, which are companion resources to amazing books written by authors like you!

Now that Curriculum & Culture is growing and thriving (we now have a full team!), I have the capacity to offer my services as a curriculum writer directly to authors. If you’d like me to create a custom activity book (for picture books) or novel study (for middle grade and YA books) to help you KILL IT at your next school visit or event, please complete the form below.

Each activity book includes:

• 4 educational, yet fun activities based on your picture book

• an instruction guide for teachers or parents

Each novel study includes:

• Vocabulary words from your book that students will define before reading the chapter(s)

• Discussion questions (gooooood ones, not just reading comprehension questions)

• 2-3 enrichment activities (art, letter writing, video response assignment, comic book creation, etc.)

Q. How much does this service cost?

A. I offer a sliding scale. For picture books, the full price is $1,000 and the sliding scale price is $750. For middle grade and YA books, the full price is $1,500 and the sliding scale price is $1,250.

Q. Will my activity book or novel study be sold on Curriculum and Culture’s website?

A. If we both agree to it! We’ve sold thousands of activity books and novel studies, and each one requires the customer to either borrow or buy the book it’s based on. Having a resource featured on curriculumandculture.com is an incredible opportunity for authors to sell more books, but I can’t promise up front that your book will be a good fit.

Q. Do I need to send you a copy of my book?

A. If you’d like! However, if your book isn’t either already in my collection or on Libby, I don’t mind purchasing it using a portion of what you pay for the service.

Q. Can I give you feedback on what you create?

A. Yes! And if you’re aren’t happy with it, I’m willing to make revisions.

Q. How long will it take you to create the activity book or novel study?

A. 2-4 weeks maximum.

Q. Who owns the rights to the activity book or novel study that you create for me?

A. You do! You can use it at school events, have it on your website, sell it, etc. It’s 100% yours.
